Institute - Industry Cell

Prin.K.M.Kundnani Pharmacy Polytechnic (KMKPP), Ulhasnagar has constituted an Institute - Industry Cell. The objective of this cell is to reduce the gap between industry expectations (practice) and academic offerings by direct involvement of industry to attain a symbiosis.

KMKPP imparts Diploma in Pharmacy programme, so industry includes hospitals, retail pharmacies and pharmaceutical industries.

Mrs. Manjiri Gharat, Selection Grade Lecturer has been appointed as In-charge of Industry-Institute Cell.

    The following are major activities of the cell:

  • Organize industry experts’ lectures for students.
  • Organize industrial visits for the students.
  • Encourage industries to organize campus interviews for placement.
  • The MoUs were Signed between KMKPP and
    1) IPA-Community Pharmacy Division, Mumbai
    2) Yashashree Medical and General Stores, Kalyan
    3) Sarvanand Hospital, Ulhasnagar
  • Organizing industrial internship programme for students.

2. The industrial visit for Final Year D.Pharm students was organized at Dr.L.H.Hiranandani Hospital, Mumbai.

3. The MoU was signed between KMKPP and Yashashree Medicals & General Stores, Kalyan.

4. The Campus interviews were conducted with degree Pharmacy College by Medlife limited. Mumbai. Total ten students of KMKPP appeared for interview, out of which four students were selected for employment.
